SOJOURN — Women’s Freedom Gathering 2027 is an invitation to step away from the demands of everyday life and gather with women from across the country for a weekend of meaningful connections, joyful fellowship, powerful worship, and Christ-centered teaching.
Together, we'll deepen our understanding of faith righteousness, discover greater freedom in the finished work of Jesus, and be reminded that our journey isn't about striving to become who God wants us to be, but learning to live confidently in who we already are in Christ.
Whether you're coming with lifelong friends or arriving on your own, you'll find a welcoming place to be refreshed, encouraged, and strengthened in your faith. There will be moments to worship, receive from Jesus and one another, share laughter, build lasting friendships, and simply enjoy being together.

SOJOURN takes place in beautiful La Quinta, California, surrounded by the stunning desert landscapes of the Coachella Valley.
Flying In
Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is a convenient airport for travelers attending the gathering.
The drive from Palm Springs International Airport to Embassy Suites La Quinta is approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
If you're not renting a car, we recommend using Uber or another rideshare service for transportation to the hotel.

Denise Capra
For more than 30 years, Denise Capra has co-pastored Faith Kansas City alongside her husband, Dennis, encouraging believers to discover their identity in Christ and live confidently in His finished work. Her passion for missions has taken her to 45 nations, where she has shared the Gospel and equipped ministry leaders. Together, Denise and Dennis serve as Executive Regional Leaders in Andrew Wommack's ARMI ministry network. An author and Bible teacher with a growing collection of books and digital resources, Denise is also the visionary behind the Women's Freedom Gathering, bringing women together to be refreshed, strengthened in faith, and encouraged in their walk with Jesus.
Patty Avila
Patty Avila is the founder of Patty Avila Ministries, an author, and a Bible teacher passionate about helping others discover their identity in Christ. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, graduated from Charis Bible College, and was ordained through Andrew Wommack Ministries. Having served in numerous pastoral roles, Patty brings both ministry experience and a deeply personal testimony of heartbreak, injustice, and profound loss, including the passing of her daughter, Laci. Through these difficult seasons, she discovered God's sustaining peace. Today, Patty teaches on total forgiveness, identity in Christ, and the unshakable faithfulness of God's love.
Terri Diaz
Terri Diaz and her husband, Dennis, are the founders of Desert Oasis Church, where they share a passion for helping people experience God's unconditional love. Her experiences on the mission field deepened her desire to reach others with the life-changing truth of the Gospel. Through ministry and personal encouragement, Terri inspires women to move beyond life's obstacles and discover that God's love is greater than any circumstance they face. Her message reflects an unwavering confidence in God's faithfulness and a heart for seeing others grow in their relationship with Jesus, embrace His grace, and walk forward in freedom.
Geri Coulter
Geri Coulter is a devoted servant-leader from Farmington, Missouri, with a passion for helping women discover their God-given identity and purpose. She has a heart for making biblical truth practical and applicable to everyday life, encouraging others to grow spiritually and approach challenges with confidence in God's Word. Through her teaching and genuine love for people, Geri inspires women to move beyond limitations, embrace personal growth, and recognize the possibilities available to them through Christ. Her message encourages women to remain firmly established in God's truth while moving forward with faith, courage, and expectation.
Nancy Thompson
Nancy Thompson is a passionate communicator of God's love, grace, and truth, bringing warmth, authenticity, and heartfelt encouragement to her ministry. Drawing from years of experience, Nancy combines biblical teaching, personal stories, and practical application to help women understand who they are in Christ. Her heart is to see women rise above life's challenges, overcome limiting beliefs, and experience the peace and confidence that come from knowing God's unconditional love. Through her approachable teaching style, Nancy encourages women to apply biblical truth to everyday life, embrace God's promises, and move forward with renewed confidence and purpose.
Tammy Hawkins

Mona Clark co-pastors Crossover Ministries alongside her husband, Bob, and serves as a Regional Leader for the Northwest states. Her ministry emphasizes God's faithfulness through life's challenges and His ability to bring beauty from ashes. Through biblical teaching and heartfelt encouragement, Mona inspires women to grow in their understanding of God's love, embrace His promises, and move forward with renewed confidence and purpose.
