Javan Smith's journey is dedicated to faith, service, and cultural bridge-building. After graduating from Kennesaw State University in 2007 with a degree in International Affairs, Javan's educational background laid the foundation for his global perspective and passion for cross-cultural understanding.

After completing his college education, Javan embarked on a spiritual journey, studying at Charis Bible College of Atlanta. It was here that he deepened his understanding of theology and ministry, preparing him for the impactful work that lay ahead.

​

In 2010, Javan's life significantly changed when he married his wife, Dorareg (Dora), originally from Mexico. Together, they embarked on a journey of faith and service, spending the next twelve and a half years in full-time ministry. Serving as executive pastors of The Solid Rock of Atlanta, they dedicated themselves to guiding and nurturing their congregation.

In 2017, Javan and Dora answered a new call to ministry, launching Javareg Ministries. Through this teaching ministry, they traversed borders and continents, ministering to diverse communities across multiple countries. Their ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish allowed them to reach a broad audience, breaking down linguistic barriers in the name of faith.

Javan and Dora's dedication and expertise were recognized recently as they were hired to join the ARMI Team. Javan now serves as the Assistant Director of ARMI Operations, bringing his leadership acumen and passion for ministry to a broader platform.
