About Maralee & Paul: The Artist & The Politician 

Maralee and Paul Gazelka have been married for 40 years with five children and five grandchildren.

Though very different, they have discovered many secrets of a lifelong, loving marriage. They are excited to share some of these nuggets with us.

Maralee is a successful artist and art workshop teacher. Her art has been featured on wine labels, at the Minnesota Capitol, and in one version of the Passion Bible. She regularly teaches "art with a purpose" painting classes at Adult & Teen Challenge in Minnesota.

Maralee's prophetic voice played an essential role in interceding for and speaking to political leaders in Minnesotan, the U.S. leaders, and internationally.

Paul served as the Senate Majority Leader in Minnesota's Senate. He was only the 29th leader to have this position in Minnesota's history and was the longest-serving Republican in that role. Paul is also a lifelong small business owner and wrote a book 20 years ago called "Marketplace Miristefs," showing people how to integrate their faith into every place they are.
